What to pack for Living in London. Although the winter is long in London, the summer does exist, so you will need to pack both summer and winter kit with a little less emphasis on summer! While London doesnt get that cold compared to New York or Vancouver, a warm coat, scarf and gloves are a must in winter. You may be better off buying this gear in London. Also, youre in Europe - there will be all kinds of opportunities to go skiing in the Alps, sailing in the Med, etc. If you think you will fancy a ski trip, bring your ski clothes. It may seem bulky at the time, but at least you will have them when you need them.
